Today we have completed the first day of the preliminary round of the contest and we want to thank all the candidates who have attended today, as well as the seven musicians that make up the ensemble and the jury of this preliminary round: Cecilia Berkovich, violin; Liam Harman, clarinet; Álvaro Prieto, bassoon; Luis Gonzalez, trumpet; Jordi Navarro, trombone; José Vicente Faus, timpani i Toni Garcia, double bass.
Their enthusiasm, their professionalism and precision have enabled the fluid dynamic and contributed to the success of the day. The 30 contestants who have conducted at the Art i Joia hall, have enjoyed the experience of the contest overall, and now they await the expectations of the final deliberation tomorrow, once the remaining 11 have competed.
